Home at Long Last
So I have been on vacation for the last week. It’s good to be home and back at it again. The only downside of course is all the things waiting for my return. Luckily, most of them have been dispatched with ease and relatively painlessly.
Kansas was very nice, Wichita’s weather was very pleasant for most of the visit and the evenings were gorgeous. I don’t recall Wichita being that green. It was very pretty. I grew up as a teenager in Wichita and graduated High School there. It has grown up a lot and has may new things that remind me of a combination of Denver and Dallas, while still maintaining the small town feel. It was also amazing that you could get just about anywhere in town in 20 minutes. After living in the Houston area for 6 years, where you can’t get ANYWHERE in 20 minutes, it’s nice.
I’m glad to be back and getting going on things again, but the vacation was nice and relaxing and feel refreshed for the second half of the year.
