Happy Birthday iMac
Today the iMac turns 10 years old. Happy birthday little guy.
The iMac has really changed a lot in the last ten years. It’s great that it’s been so consistent. The iMac is starting to feel like the Honda Accord or Toyota Camry of the computer industry. It might not be the flashiest, most powerful, or biggest, however, it’s going to be reliable, versatile, and will perform most of what a “typical” computer user wants and needs to do.
There are 2 of the older “Five Flavors” iMacs around the house that the kids still use to play games and such that have been perfectly useable. Great machines then, great machines now. Absolutely awesome!

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. Mac has really come a long way.
I still have one of those around too. We had 3 of the colors. I now have the white iMac and I love it. I’ve had it for 4 years and it’s still going strong…no matter how many windows and applications I open.
